INTRODUCTION | FIRE SAFETY | ELEMENTS OF COMBUSTION | FIRE LAYS | LNT PRINCIPLES | KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT
Combustion is the process of burning something to produce light and heat. There are three things you must have for a fire to take place: Fuel, Oxygen, and an Ignition Source. In this course we will discuss each of these items as well as being safe when starting a fire. We will then discuss different types of fire lays (ways to build a fire) and then finally we will learn about the principles of "leave no trace" when it comes to fires being used in natural environments.
